Notarizations and Certifications


1- Commercial Invoices:


According to Chinese government rules and regulations, all commercial invoices must be sent by the Chinese trading company to the Chinese chamber of commerce to be certified. Following the CCPIT certification, commercial invoices must be sent to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs for authentication.

Finally; these Invoices are sent by the Chinese authorities to the Embassy of Syria for accreditation. The Embassy would send back to the Chinese Foreign Ministry all approved invoices.

Accreditation of commercial invoices by the Embassy can only be attained if the commercial invoice is jointly presented with a certificate of origin.

Fees required for the commercial invoice accreditation are proportional to the value of the invoice. Fees are calculated as follows:

1、if the total value of the invoice is stated in US Dollars:
   
Fee (in RMB) = ( invoice value 306.7 1.5% ) / 47.57

2、if the total value of the invoice is stated in Euros:
   
Fee (in RMB) = ( invoice value 334.09 1.5% ) / 47.57

The upper limit for any accreditation fee is /32237/ RMB regardless of the value of the invoice.

N.B. the Certificate of origin should explicitly and clearly state that the exported goods are manufactured in China.

 


2- Certificates of Origin, Commercial Invoices and other documents :

1. If the document is issued for a commercial purpose and includes a statement of an amount of money:
   - The document must be certified by the CCPIT and the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
   - A Fee of /645/ RMB is required.
   N.B. the Certificate of origin should explicitly and clearly state that the exported goods are manufactured in China.

2. If the document is issued for a commercial purpose and does not include a statement of an amount of money:
   - The document must be certified by the CCPIT and the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
   - A fee of /323/ RMB is required.
   N.B. the Certificate of origin should explicitly and clearly state that the exported goods are manufactured in china.  

 


 

3- Non Commercial documents:
 

All other documents (Non - Commercial):

   - Certification by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
   - A fee of /162/ RMB is required.
